Over the years, studies have been done to test these claims, and modern medicine and science seem to agree that indeed, red wine can be a lifesaver to those who know how to use it responsibly. According to them, the resveratrol component of red wine has anti-aging properties. It also has procyanidins that keep blood vessels healthy.

Red wine, when consumed in regularity and moderation, can do wonders to our health. Great caution should, however, be taken, as drinking too much can be habit-forming and therefore trigger other health conditions and chronic illnesses.
